SCHENECTADY GAZETTE, MONDAY, OCTOBER 29, 1973 A mass of Christian burial for David H. LaRocque, 71, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Columba's Church. Mr. LaRocque, of 1652 Helderberg Ave., died Saturday in . Ellis Hospital after a long illness. A native of Charlotte, Vt., Mr. LaRocque had lived in Schenectady 47 years..He was employed as a security guard by General Electric Co. 24 years, retiring in 1964. Mr. LaRocque, an Army veteran of World War I, was a member of Post 357. .His wife was the late Mrs. Estelle Roberts LaRocque. He is survived by a son, Donald LaRocque of Schenectady; two daughters, Mrs. Joyce Dearstyne of Schenectady and Mrs. Lorraine Elmore of Phoenix, Ariz.; a brother, Arthur LaRocque of Burlington, Vt; two sisters, Mrs.. Helen La-Plante of Schenectady and Mrs. Virginia Lemieux of Burlington; 13 grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren. A service prior to the mass will be held, in Feeley Funeral Home, 1130 Third Ave., at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery. The funeral home will be open after 7 p.m. tomorrow.
