She was raised in Redfield, AR and graduated from Merrill High School in Pine Bluff, AR . She also graduated from SEARK college, formally Pines Vocational Technical College in Pine Bluff, AR with a degree in accounting. She worked many years for Entergy, formally AP&L before going to United Water company in Pine bluff, AR where she retired
Preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Floyd Aaron and five siblings
She is survived by two daughters, Marva A. Aaron of Irving, TX and Kimberly D. Aaron of Bryant, AR. Two sisters Mrs. Malinda McKnight (Joe Louis) , Gloria McClenton and a host of nieces,nephews, relatives and friends

Her services will be Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Allen Temple AME Church by Reverend Randolph W. Martin at 10:30a. Burial will be in Cypress Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Friday from 4-6:00p at Brown Funeral Home of Pine Bluff.
