Thursday morning, February 19,
1976, in a local hospital after a
short illness.
Funeral services will be conducted
at 2P.M. Friday in Waters Funeral
Home Chapel. Burial will be in Mount
Hope Cemetery.
Mr. Herin was born in Greenwood,
a son of the late Joe and Mattie
Lowry Herin. He had been a citizen
of Florence sence 1946 and was a
veteran of World War II serving in
the U.S. Navy.
He was a Mason and a member
of Amity Lodge 340, A.F. & A.M. and
Mecca Chapter 278, Order of the
Eastern Star.He was a retired employee
of Rainwater Fas and Oil.
Surviving are his wifem Mrs.Victoria
(Polly) S. Herin of Florence: two daughters
Mrs Myrtle (Pete) Cagle and Mrs Judy Beard,
both of Florence: two sisters Mrs. Elbert Bowie
of Columbia and Mrs Alfred Murdock of
Greenville; a brother Jesse C. Herin of
Greenwood.
