Batson -
William Lynn Batson, 87, of Corpus Christi, passed away Dec 26, 1988 in a local nursing home.
He was a native of Texas and a former resident of Huntsville, Texas. He had resided in Corpus Christi for 42 years. He was a member of the Travis Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Cornelia V Batson of Corpus Christi; two daughters; Mrs Frank (Golda) Whaley and Mrs J B (Theda) McConnico, Jr., both of Corpus Christi; one sister, Rosa Mae Patterson of Normangee, Texas; two brothers, Charles R Batson and Alwyn B Batson, both of Normangee, Texas; five grandchildren, Janet Zimmerman, Susan Artz, Don Whaley, Bill and Robert McConnico and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Wednesday in the Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Seaside Memorial Park.
