Hardin Helm, she died Thursday in Geneva, NY, while visiting relatives.
Mrs Lewis was 95. Her mother was Emilie Todd Helf, a half sister of
Mrs Lincoln. The widow of Walter Lewis, a Scott county farmer and horse
breeder, Mrs Lewis made her home for many years at the Helm Place, a 162
year old mansion on Elkhorn Creek outside Lexington. She was a grand-
daughter of John L Helm, a 19th century Kentucky governor.
