Mrs. Hattie Herma Minnick, 76, passed away June 17 in Ivinson Memorial Hospital in Laramie. She was the daughter of William and Elizabeth Byxbe. She spent her childhood in Iowa, and in 1902, moved with her husband and two small children to Wyoming where they homesteaded. She came to Douglas in 1922 and made her home here until 1957 when she moved to Laramie to make her home with one of her daughters. Surviving are eight children: Rondel Murrow of Cambria, Ia.; Mrs. Mary Skelton, Mrs. Lillie Foster and Wendell Ammons of Douglas, Mrs. Alice Durham of Greybull, Mrs. Wilda Tolman of Tucson, Ariz., David L. Ammons of Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. Gertrude Smith of Laramie; 25 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, three brothers and three sisters.
