Obituary, DeRuyter Gleaner, Thursday, December 31, 1942 page 2:

Mrs. Nellie Siłvernail Craft

After a brief illness, caused by a stroke and heart attack, while visiting her daughter, Mrs. Roy Fuller and family of Taylor Valley, Mrs. Nellie Craft passed away Friday afternoon. She was tenderly cared for by her daughters and sisters, who will long mourn the loss of a devoted mother and sister. Her many friends and neighbors will miss her greatly, having lived all her life in this town, and had been for many years a member of the Pitcher Baptist Church and Ladles' Aid Society. Mrs. Craft was born April 16, 1868 in this town and passed from this life on Christmas day, December 25, 1942. Fifty-seven years ago she was united in marriage to Gilbert Craft who died some 12 years ago. To this union six children were born. Walter Craft of New Woodstock; Hubert Craft of the Brakel road; Annie Fuller of Taylor Valley; Leah Maxson of Utica; Dayton Craft of Union Valley, and Edith Beardsley of Delphi Falls: ełeven grandchildren and two great grandchildren, survive. She is also survived by two brothers, Estes and Lewis Silvernail;
six sisters, Mrs. Ira Fosgate, Mrs. Eva Ellworth, Mrs. Samuel Twltchell, Mrs. Setta Bentley, Mrs. Reta Youngs, Mrs. Frank Marvin. Funeral services were held in the Baptist church Monday at 2 p. m. Funeral Director, C. B. Heath was in charge, Rev. Newman of Cincinnatus, a former pastor assisted by Rev. Phillip French, officiated. Burial was made in the Lower Cincinnatus cemetery. The large attendance at the funeral and the profusion of beautiful flowers spoke more clearly than words the love and esteem in which the deceased was held.
