Robert LeFlore Bobo, 77, of Memphis TN., passed away on Monday, April 9, 2012.

He was born in Rosedale, MS. Robert was an Air Force veteran Airman 3rd Class, long-time member of International Painters and Allied Trades Union.

A talented musician who could play multiple instruments, he enjoyed restoring antique motorcycles and welding.

He graduated from Holy Cross Catholic Boys School in New Orleans Louisiana, attended St. Louis Conservatory and School for the Arts Music, and loved ALL animals.

Mr. Bobo enjoyed spending time with his wife, Jeanette Rhea Bobo, of 10 years, they were married on June 20, 2010. He told her every day that she was the best thing that ever happened to him. They had been friends for over 50 years prior to that.

Robert is also survived by step daughters, Diane James (Larry), and Denise Nichols (Bud); stepson, Troy Rhea Jr. (Darlene); stepsister, Karen Gillmore of Richmond VA; stepbrother, Kevin Freeman, seven step-grandchildren, and several step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Pearl Freeman of Memphis and Andrew Bobo of Penola County MS. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 12 at 2 p.m., with two hours of visitation prior to the funeral at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd.

Family requests memorials be sent to the Memphis Humane Society or the charity of their choice, in lieu of flowers.
