George Glenn "Whitey" Baker, age 70, died July 6, 1991 in Sacramento, California complications following a stroke.
He was born in Glenpool, Oklahoma to Thomas Monroe and Mary Miller Baker on March 12, 1921. He married Agnes Dee, July 12, 1941; later divorced. Married Arvilla (Jerry) Young on March 3, 1962. Served his country in World War II. He was a body and fender man in the auto repair business.
Survivors: wife, Rio Linda, California; one son, Jack Glenn Baker, Rio Linda; three daughters, Mrs. Steve R. (Suzanne) Steele, Murray; Mrs. John S. (Liane) Brown, Taylorsville; Mrs. David A. (Debra) Morse, Provo; three step-daughters and one step-son, Carrene Kidrick, Joe Myers, Marie Myers, all of Salt Lake City; Linda Myers, Sacramento, California; 22 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charlie Baker, Delmar Baker, both Redding, California. Preceded in death by parents, and three brothers.
