Mrs. Dorothy Tull Wynkoop, 70, of 9905 Liberty Road, Frederick, died Monday, June 29, at Frederick Memorial Hospital.

She was the wife of Louis D. Wynkoop.

Born March 7, 1917, in Montgomery County, she was a daughter of the late Irving Thomas and Nellie Holland Burdette Ballenger.

She was a member of the Women of the Moose Chapter 347 of Frederick, Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary 1067 of Frederick, Frederick County Humane Society, and St. Martin's Catholic Church in Gaithersburg.

Surviving besides her husband are eight children; Richard E. Tull Jr. of Olney, Robert A. Tull of Sandy Spring, Betty Ragsdale of Annapolis, Helen Vernelson of Annandale, Va., Edward J. Tull of Damascus, Dorothy Sparks of Cape Coral, Fl., Brenda Reeley of Thurmont, Beverly Flohr of Monrovia; one brother, Gilbert Ballenger of Florida; one sister, Laura Ann Benson of Gaithersburg; 18 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a number of step-children and two dear friends, Ruth and Ralph Burall of Frederick.

Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, at the Olin L. Molesworth Funeral Home in Damascus. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, July 2, at the funeral home. Interment Parklawn Memorial Park, Rockville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Frederick County or the American Cancer Society.

Dorothy was my father, Gilbert E. Ballinger's sister. She and Uncle Dick were good aunt and uncle.
