Scales Mound, Ill. - Mrs. Herbert (Viola) Hickman, 80, of Scales Mound died Sunday morning in the Cuba City, Wis., Medical Center.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Holy Trinity Catholic Church here, with burial in the Scales Mound Township Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Steinke-Schmadeke Funeral Home at Galena, Ill., where the Scripture Wake Service will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Surviving besides her husband are a son, Stanley Davis; a daughter, Mrs. Harold (June) Harwick, and two stepsons, Cleland and Kenneth Hickman, all of Scales Mound; 13 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
