J. Elmo England, age 85, died February 1, 1993 at his home in Tooele, Utah following recent heart surgery.
Born June 3, 1907 in Tooele, Utah to Joseph Moroni and Agnes Murray England. He married Norma Johnson October 13, 1932 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
He was an active member of the LDS Church, serving as one of the seven presidents of the Stake Seventies, a stake missionary, Sunday School president and Stake Genealogy specialist. Genealogy was his great love and his service rendered to others was never ending. He was the founder of England Construction and was involved in ranching and other business ventures. He was a life member of the Sons of the Utah Pioneers.
He is survived by his wife, Norma; his son, E. Gary and wife Colleen; his daughter, Judy Fisher Millburn and husband David; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; his brothers, DeLoyd and Boyd, both of Tooele; and his sister, Ruth McIntyre, St. George.
