Roy Ernest "Ernest" Kelly

In the photo with some of his siblings, Ernest is front and center. On the far left is his half sister Gladys Kelly, then his brother Earl Kelly, behind him his brother Vern Kelly, in the rear right his brother Glenn Kelly, and front right his sister Lillian Kelly. Ernest enlisted for the last 59 days of WW I. He m. Alta Alice Hood on 16 April 1924 in Jacksonville, Jackson Co., OR. They settled in Central Point, OR where Ernest was employed operating log carrying machinery at a lumber mill. They raised three sons. Ernest passed away from a heart attack while on winter vacation in AZ.
