Friends and relatives of Mrs. Carlton M. Westcott, of South Seaville, were grieved Thursday morning when they learned of her sudden death which occurred at about 11 o'clock the previous evening. Mrs. Westcott, who was 67 years old had not been ill and her sudden demise came as a great shock to friends. Dr. Eugene Way was in attendance at the time Mrs. Westcott died in her home.
Mrs. Westcott leave her husband, who has been county court crier for more than 40 years. She also leaves two sons, Clarence, who resides at Somers Point, and Raymond, who lives at South Seaville.
Funeral services will be held from the Westcott home tomorrow at 2 p.m. Burial will be made in the Calvary church cemetery at Ocean View.
