Gray has informed us that he will not be a candidate for the office of City Treasurer this spring. He is over 81 years of age, and has been honored by the people with various offices for over thirty years. For thirteen years he was Treasurer of the town, and the past year of the city. During these years he has received over $260,000 of town and city money, every nickel of which has been fully accounted for.
