Mrs. Sara P. Hargis, 76, 1211 W. 10th St., died at 8:30 p.m. Sunday following a nine-year illness. The Muncie resident for the past 18 years was a member of the Presbyterian Church at Shiloh, Tenn.
Survivors include her husband, Elvin; seven sons, Ezra, Omer, Opel, and T.G., all of Muncie, Elmer, Alpine, Tenn., Onva, Livingston, Tenn., and Doyle, Anderson; three daughters, Mrs. Isaac Copeland, Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. Niland Smith, Allred, Tenn., and Mrs. Raymond Smith, Lewisburg, Tenn.; 47 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
The body was removed to the Parson Mortuary where arrangements are pending.
