Born in New York state, Mr. Macy was a son of the late Henry H. and Emilia (de la Montaign) Macy. A graduate of George School in Bucks County, Pa., Mr. Macy formerly taught at Central School, Lonaconing. He was a veteran of World War I.
Mr. Macy was a member of First Presbyterian Church and had served on the Board of Trustees and as an elder. For nine years he was superintendent of Moffat Memorial Mission at Barrelville.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth (Somerville) Macy; three sons, John S. Macy, St. Petersburg, Florida; and William H. and Alan D. Macy, both of this city; two sisters, Mrs. Clara Hull and Mrs. Ethel Donaldson of Pleasantville, New York, eight grandchildren, and a number of nephews and nieces.
The family requests memorials be in the form of donations to the Christian Children's Fund, Inc., of Richmond, Va.
Pallbearers will be J. Daniel Eisenberger, William H. Eisenberger, Donald E. Beeman and Glover E. Heavner.
