Leonard T. Fuller, 93, of Montgomery and formerly of Heatherbrooke Estates, Muncy, died Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009, at his home.

Born Oct. 4, 1916, in Muncy, he was a son of the late Harry C. and Lena McMichael Fuller.

He and his wife, the former Alice L. Foster, celebrated 15 years of marriage on Aug. 6, 2009.

Leonard attended the former Dividing Ridge School, Muncy and the Pine Run School, Linden. He was a WW II veteran serving in the U.S. Marine Corps and retired in 1978 from Bethlehem Steel, Williamsport, after having worked there for over 37 years.

A member of the Williamsport Assembly of God Church, Leonard was also an avid metal detector and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He will be remembered most for being a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Carol (Bill) Smith of Turbotville; two sisters, Naomi Liedecker of Williamsport and Winifred Knaus of Lewisburg; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many loving step-children, grandchildren and half-brothers and sisters.

In addition to his parents, Leonard was preceded in death by his first wife of 51 years, May Minnier Andrews Fuller; a daughter, Cheryl Poorman; and three brothers, Roy, Harold and Clayton Fuller.
