Services for Laura Elizabeth "Mookie" Coonrod, 75 of Leon Oklahoma, were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, in Thackerville Oklahoma, at the Thackerville Church of Christ, with Bro. Murray McMurray and Pastor Johnny Reed officating.
Mrs. Coonrod was born to Wiley and Minnie Busby, on June 8th,1928. She passed away on April 4th, 2004 at Falconhead.
A resident of Love County Oklahoma, most of her life. She and Earl E. Gene Coonrod, were married September 18, 1970 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Mrs Coonrod was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death: by her parents Wiley and Arminda Busby, Sisters: Josephine Brown, Nora Roper,Mildred Jacobs, Leatha Kittrell,and Annie Hart...Also two former husbands, James E Bearden and Andrew Basquez, a daughter Margie Ann Basquez, and a granddaughter Elizabeth C.Nettles.
Pallbearers were Larry Hite, David Bumgarner, Weldon Cross, Joe Lee, Ray Ramon, and Rick Lewis. Honorary pallbearers were Tony Ramon, Dutch Knowles, Max Hassanahahi, and her grandsons.
Interment was in Mt Zion Cemetery, Thackerville Oklahoma under direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home, Marietta Oklahoma.
