Verana was the daughter of Jacob and Susanna (Weber) Coblentz. On 21 Jun 1866 she married Robert B. Votaw. They had 7 children: Ida, Laura, Harry Ellison, Emma A., George E., Louis Slusser, and Garfield Arthur. (In 1910, 5 were still living.) Robert B. died in 1899. On 21 Apr 1908 she married Benjamin or Charles Crumbaker in Indiana. She was living with her son Garfield Arthur in Cleveland in 1920. She died in Cleveland in 1927.
