Vincent John "Vince" Norkus, age 52, of Shelby Township, Michigan, passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 1, 2004 of a heart attack.

Vince was born on Tuesday, September 25, 1951 in Dallas, TX. Dear middle son of Ruth and the late Bruno Norkus. Brother of Ruth Ann (Bob) Rivard and George (Martha) Norkus. Uncle of Saralyn and Dorothy. He was previously married to Claire Duz and they lived in Detroit, Houston, San Francisco and Providence, RI. They later amicably divorced after 10 years and Vince returned to his childhood home and assisted his mother. He was very interested in computers and loved to read books. Although Vince was quite interested in health topics, he couldn't quit smoking. He had survived a previous heart attack but it was his wish to not live through the ordeal again should it happen. His dry wit and insightful commentary is missed by his family and friends.
