Mattie Mae Lloyd Williams went to Heaven on January 29, 2000. Mattie was born in Darlington County, daughter of the late Maridy Henry Joseph Franklin Williams and Rosa Lee Hendricks Williams. She was the loving, devoted wife of Charles Wylie Lloyd. She was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church.

Mattie was preceded in death by her parents, Son, Robert Wade Lloyd, brothers, Roy Williams Sr. and Heyward Williams who died at birth and sisters, Helen Virginia Williams Boseman and Dorothy Jean Williams who died in infancy.

Surviving are her husband, Charles Wylie Lloyd, daughter, Angela Carolyn Lloyd (Gary)Pace of Olanta, a son, Franklin (Nancy) Lloyd of Salisbury, N.C.; 6 grandchildren; 21 Great-grandchildren; and 2 Great-great-grandchildren.

Mattie touched the lives and the hearts of family and friends and will be greatly missed. Heaven has another Angel.
