Frederick was the first Karper to settle at Keefer's Store in Letterkenny Township of Franklin County, PA. He owned the farms previously owned by Alexander Robinson and Abraham Keefer. Karper's Church Cemetery is in the southwest corner of this land. That cemetery is the Zion German Lutheran and German Reform. The cemetery is now enclosed in the gates of Letterkenny Army Depot and can be visited by appointment or during tours given around the time of Armed Forces Day.
