Albert Elmer Goetsch, 63, of 429 West Twenty-ninth street, Davenport, died at 8:30 p.m. Thursday in his home. He had been ill for the last 12 days.

Born June 7, 1891, in Davenport, the son of the late William and Mary Goetsch, he was a life resident of this area and attended school here and also Brown's Business college in Davenport. He married Helda Struck March 15, 1916, in Davenport.

Mr. Goetsch was secretary-treasurer of the Tunnicliff Construction Co. for many years prior to retirement last October. He was of Lutheran faith.

Survivors include his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Carl R. Cleve, Davenport; two sons, Waldo E. and Norman E., both of Davenport; seven grandchildren; and a brother, Waldo W., adjutant of Rock Island arsenal.

Funeral services will be held in Runge funeral home at 4 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.
