Elkhart, Ind--Nellie Belle Dizmang, 92, of 25949 County Road 6, Elkhart, passed away September 21, 1993, at the home of a son, Leo Brooks in Elkhart. She had been in ill health for some time. Employed by IXL, Goshen, Ind., she retired in 1958 after having worked there for a number of years.
She was born April 22, 1901 in Lincoln, Kan. She was married to Earl Brooks on Dec. 14, 1919 in Maynard, (AR). He passed away June 19, 1931. She then married Roy L. Dizmang on October 22, 1932 at Supply, (AR). He passed away Oct. 19, 1963.
A son, Earl Brooks, preceded her in death on March 24, 1993; a half-brother and two brothers also preceded her in death.
Funeral was Sept. 24 at Osolo Missionary Church with Rev. Dale Turner, the pastor, officiating. Burial was in Prairie Street Cemetery there under the direction of Westbrook-Metz-Clouse Funeral Home of Elkhart.
