Lucy is the daughter of John Henry and Theresa Louise Brewer McAtee. She lists her birth as Jan 1856 on the 1900 census, but cemetery records have 1858.

She married Francis Marion Dant 14 Sep 1880 in Washington, Daviess, IN and they lived most of their lives in Daviess County, primarily Van Buren Twp. They were the parents of at least 9 children, 8 sons and 1 daughter: Martin Eugene, Louis Augustine "Gus", Leo Vernis, Joseph E., Francis Logan, Elmer Thomas, Jackson L., Nicholas Theodore who died before his 12th birthday and Mary Inez (Kidwell).

I'm not sure if Lucy died in Daviess or Martin County, but certainly one or the other.
