Arie "Sissy" Lauramore Carter, 72, of Macclenny died Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at her residence after an extended illness. She was born in Moniac, Georgia, the daughter of the late Ernest and Myrtie Johns Crews. She was a homemaker and a very devoted wife and mother whose passion was fishing. She would go fishing and always be home in time to have supper on the table. Sissy will be missed by all. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, the father of her children R.B. Lauramore Sr. and second husband Charlie Carter.
Survivors include son R.B. (Karen) Lauramore Jr. of Raiford; daughters Janice Rhoden of Glen St. Mary and Debbie (Bill) Sirmans of Macclenny; twin brother Aaron "Buddy" (Judy) Crews of Moniac and Jimmy (Debbie) Crews Sr. of Olustee; sisters Ophelia Nipper, Geneva Rewis, and Carolyn Velleca, all of Macclenny; grandchildren Sandra C. (Chris) Harvey, Jimbo Green, Jennifer C. (Nathan) Aldridge, Traci R. (Chris) Mann, Dustin Lauramore, Macy Lauramore, Destiny Lauramore; step-grandson Warren (Danielle) Rhoden; 15 great-grandchildren also survive
