Doris Elizabeth Rothwell, 94, passed away Monday, November 12, 2012. She was born May 29, 1918 in Edmond, OK to Mary Barbara (Greniger) and Loren Edward Foord. The family moved to Bearden, AR when Doris was 2 years old, she and her seven siblings grew up there on a farm. She graduated from high school in 1937 and attended Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls, IA then went to Midland Linotype School in Charles City, IA. Her first job was at a print shop in Valparaiso, IN then she worked for the Fordyce News-Advocate. Doris married Raymond G. Rothwell November 14, 1948. Fordyce was their home for 25 years then a change in Raymond's job took them to Camden for the next 25 years. Doris provided child care in their home for many Camden children. They were very active in the First Baptist Churches in both locations. In 2001 they moved to

Survivors include daughter, Barbara (Gary) Warriner of Kansas City, MO; son, Gary (Carol) Rothwell of Rockford, IL; one grandson, Brad (Tracy) Warriner and their children, Adam and Isabella; and many nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Oakland Cemetery at Fordyce, AR. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
