WORLD WAR II VETERAN... My Father-in-law...Herbert was the son of Perley Edward Ayer and Flossie Bell Ayer (Hill). He married Dorothy Margaret Clark and had three boys; James, Steven and Bradley. Herbert was a kind and gentle spirit and he loved dogs...especially Schautzie, his Miniature Schnauzer.Getting in his car and just riding down country roads was one of his favorite things to do,and he was teased about never shutting his car directional blinker off. Each night he would be ready to watch JOHNNY CARSON and then it was time for bed.Herb loved anything fried and he especially enjoyed a good lobster! He served in England during WW II Herbert had a big heart and was a good, decent and loving man!
