AKEN — Funeral services for Daniel Sullivan Henderson will be held at 11:30 a.m. tomorrow in George Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Frampton W. Henderson, Edward M. Craig Jr., Daniel A. Henderson, Aexs Henderson, Hastings W. Henderson Jr., and Edward Pardue.
Mr. Henderson, 90, a former resident of Columbia, died yesterday in a Spartanburg nursing home.
Married to the late Catherine Wyman Henderson, he was born in Aiken, a son of the late Daniel Sullivan and Lily Ripley Henderson.
He was a graduate of Davidson College, an early merchant of Columbia, a partner of Henderson-Sudan Hardware Co. and an employe for many years of Gibbes Machinery Co.
Mr Henderson was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Columbia.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Edward M. Craig of Columbia; two sons, Daniel S. Henderson IV of Spartanburg and Hastings W. Henderson of Columbia; 12 grandchildren and a great-grandson.
