                A Pleasant Occasion.

      The occasion of the reception given to John Cullen and bride at the residence of James Cullen, Sr., in East Brainerd, last evening, was a very enjoyable one. The marriage ceremony which joined John Cullen and Miss Katie McMahan together for life was performed at La Crosse, Wis., last Tuesday, the couple reaching Brainerd on Wednesday night. A banquet was served and dancing at the Michigan house indulged in until a late hour. Everybody enjoyed themselves and the bride and groom can congratulate themselves on their royal reception to their future home.
      The groom is the youngest son of Jas. Cullen, of East Brainerd, and a valued employee of the Northern Pacific railroad. The bride, whose home was in La Crosse, Wis., is a sister of Mrs. J. F. McGinnis of this city.
      The list of presents as published in the daily [Daily News] was so incomplete and inaccurate that by request we publish below a corrected list:
