Mrs. Siler Rites In Alfalfa Church
Alfalfa, May 7.--Services for Mrs. Lillie Maye Siler were at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the Baptist church at Alfalfa with Rev. A.C. Hawkins officiating. Arrangements were in charge of the Pitcher Funeral Home. Burial was in the Alfalfa cemetery.
Mrs. Siler died at 6 a.m. Wednesday of last week after an illness of 10 days. She made her home with her son, Theo, at Alfalfa.
Lillie Maye Casey was born April 18, 1880 in Searcy county, Ark. She was married to L.L. Siler in 1899. They came to Oklahoma in 1900 and located in Eufaula where Mr. Siler died in 1923. Mrs. Siler had lived in Alfalfa the past three years.
She was a member of the Baptist church at Alfalfa.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Betty Dobbs, Calastoga, Cal., and Mrs. Lena Stephenson, Pemberton, Oregon; five sons, Leo, Vinita; Theo, Alfalfa; J.D., Tulsa; Raymond, McAlester; and Cleo of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Martha Bird, Shawnee, and Mrs. Rose Lewis, Eufaula, and 19 grandchildren.
