He was retired machinist and tool die maker for Reeves Steel Co. at Dover. He was also an employee of the former Joy Mfg. Co. at New Philadelphia.
Born April 18, 1909, near New Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Jacob and Mary Gribble Seibert.
Howard was a member of the First Lutheran Church at Strasburg where he formerly was Sunday School superintendent and council member. He was past governor and member of Dover Moose Lodge and the Broken Arrow Archery Club. He was avid hunter.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Marilyn Bates and 14 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. in Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Pastor Fred Grosse officiating. Internment will be in the East Avenue Cemetery in New Philadelphia. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. The family request memorial contributions be made to First Lutheran Church, 204 8th St. Sw, Strasburg, o., 44680.
