OBITUARY: February 8, 1924, Local News, Wheaton Journal, pg 4, Mrs. Amandeline (sic) Nichols died Thursday, February 1, 1924 at the home of her son, Jess Nichols, after a lingering illness of several months. She was 62 years, 10 months and 24 days old at the time of death. She is survived by seven children, six of whom live in this vicinity and one in Oklahoma. All of the children were present at the funeral which was conducted Friday afternoon by Rev. Goodnight at Munsey (sic) Chapel. The remains were laid to rest in the Munsey cemetery.
