SPANGLER Nov 18th near Shiremanstown, Cumberland county, Pa., after an illness of a few days, Sister Sarah Spangler, aged 72 years, 11 months. Sister Spangler was a consistent member of the Mennonite church for many years and before she died gave evidence of a bright hope of immortality. Buried the 20th in presence of many relatives and friends at Slate Hill. The occasion was improved by Banj. Zimmerman, J. M. Herr, and Sam'l Hess. Herald of Truth , Vol. XXV, Number 24, December 15, 1888 page 380, 381
