                  A Business Change.

      S. R. Adair on Thursday bought the jewelry establishment of Mrs. F. G. Sundberg and will continue the business at the present location. Mr. Adair has been in charge of the business for some years but had about decided to leave for the Alaskan gold fields in the spring and his many friends in Brainerd will be pleased to learn that he has decided to remain and will henceforth be identified with the business interests of the city. The new proprietor will make some needed changes in his store and will add a new stock of up-to-date goods, endeavoring in the future as in the past to make it a popular business place. (Brainerd Dispatch, 14 January 1898, p. 8, c. 4)

                            _____

       Years, Died of Pernicious Anemia
                     on Friday Night

Mrs. Caroline Sundberg, widow of F. G. Sundberg, age 69, residing at 410 Bluff avenue, died Friday night of pernicious anemia, having been sick over a year. She had been at Rochester for medical attention where everything possible was done to save her, transfusion of blood being resorted to.
Mrs. Sundberg was widely known in the city for her kindly, lovable qualities and was a half-sister of Congressman Sidney Anderson, of Winona. She leaves five sons, Fred and Hugo Sundberg of Brainerd; Axel of Marquette, Mich.; Richard of Texalene, Texas; Oliver of International Falls; and one daughter, Mrs. R. L. Hughes of Duluth. Her husband passed away in January, 1889.
She was a member of Court Magnolia, United Order of Foresters and the Pythian Sisters, and until her illness kept her home had been a faithful attendant at the Episcopal church. The funeral will be held from the D. E. Whitney chapel, but the date cannot be set until all relatives are communicated with. (Brainerd Daily Dispatch, 17 March 1917, p. 5, c. 1)
