Kyle Vargas, 16, of Las Vegas, passed away March 26, 2004. He was a student at Silverado High School. He was born Feb. 26, 1988 in Las Vegas and was a lifetime resident. He is survived by his mother, Lorena Russell; stepfather, Jose Ochoa; grandparents, Diega and Julio, all of Las Vegas; and step-grandparents, Elva and Lalo Ochoa of North Las Vegas. Visitation will be held from noon-7 p.m., Friday, April 2, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, April 3, at St. Joseph, Husband of Mary, Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave. Burial immediately following service at Palm Valley View Cemetery. Arrangements handled by Palm Mortuary-Eastern.
