Isabel Jabour, 79, of Austin died on Friday, November 24, 2000.
She was born on August 6, 1921, in Manor, Texas, to Assad K. and Mary Hage.
She and her husband, Fred, owned and operated ''Freddie's Place'' for 47 years in Austin, Texas. She was a member of St. Elias Antiochian Eastern Orthodox Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and greatgrandmother.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fred M. Jabour; a brother, Charles K. Hage; and sisters, Ruby Daywood and Mary Hage.
She is survived by one son, Albert M. Jabour of Austin; one daughter, Mary Ann Harroz and her husband, Dr. Joseph Harroz of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; five sisters, Julia Joseph, Bernice Hage, Peggy Samon, Josephine Haik and Esther Ganem, all of Austin; grandchildren, Dr. Raymond and Sherry Cohlmia and Greg and Susan Silvernail, both of Oklahoma City, and Joe and Samia Harroz of Norman, Oklahoma; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Monday, November 27, 2000, at St. Elias Antiochian Eastern Orthodox Church, 408 East 11th Street at 10:00 a.m., with Father Stephen Rhudy officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetry.
Honoring her as pallbearers will be David Jabour, Greg Silvernail, Joe Harroz, Jr., Joe Daywood, Jr. Al Dagar, Gene Attal and Andy Saldana.
Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Joseph Harroz, Sr., Jesse Jabour, Arthur Jabour, Theodore Jabour, Jim Samon, Dr. Raymond Cohlmia, and Bill Ganem.
