Carol Ruth Hendrickson, 86, of Brownsburg, passed away Sunday afternoon, September 17, 2017. Born December 31, 1930 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Naomi Margaret Doane Hathorn Nickols and Charles Robert Hathorn. Carol was a housewife and beloved mother and sister, who later worked as a Wishard hospital switchboard operator until retiring in 1989.

Survivors include her son, Roger (Celestina) Hendrickson of Florida; daughters, Janet Hendrickson Ryan of Brownsburg, Laura Allen of Indianapolis; brother, Kent (Linda) Hathorn of Cloverdale; grandchildren, Martin Hendrickson, Charles Hendrickson, Caitlyn Ryan, William Ryan, Rebecca Allen, Rachel Allen, and four great grandchildren. Her parents and brother, Nolan Nickols, preceded her in death.

Calling will be from 9 to 11 am Saturday, September 23, 2017 with Services at 11 am in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield. Burial to follow in Danville South Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.bakerfuneralservice.com
