She founded Jean's Dress Shop in Huntsville and operated it for 35 years; was named "Alabama Retailer of the Year" in 1987; and was a founding member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Haynes Gray.
Survivors include her husband, Col. Edward P. Dombrowski, U.S. Air Force, retired, and a native of Erie; a son, Gregory Douglas Gray and his wife, Mary, of Huntsville; a daughter, Connie Gray Hardin of Columbia, Tenn.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services took place on April 2 at Maple Hill Cemetery in Huntsville with Dr. Larry R. Dill, the Rev. Mack Buttram and the Rev. Larry Stephens officiating. Laughlin Funeral Home of Huntsville handled arrangements.
