This is my argument for Anne's parents. I'm not suggesting it as a change for parents as I'm not sure. but I think my speculation is worth adding. Bob

I'm stretching a bit here. I think that Rachel Ann is also Anne. I'm not sure if her dob is 1814 or 1817, but I'm going to leave my notes at the 1814 date as it is in the Phippsburg records that way. It's possible that Rachel died young and her name was reused and that the first marriage to Parson is to the Anne daughter. But, the Anne Parsons Bowker name confirms for me that only one daughter married both Parsons and Bulfinch. The death dates for Parsons, and Bulfinch's first wife, slot together nicely. So this works as a second marriage for both of them. Also of note is that Anne is listed as being born in Maine to James ( FG # 70190911? ) and Eunice ( FG # 70190962? ).

Note for Spouse left by WR Baker
I have a year of birth for Rachel Ann "Annie" Bowker of 1814/15 (from my James Bowker/Eunice Batchelder tree), and believe I found the memorial of her first husband (Fidelis Philo Parsons) in San Francisco currently under "Philo Parsons" -- DOD basically exact, DOB currently off by a few years (entirely understandable given the circumstances of his death
