Hopewell Meeting on Sept. 5, 1757 petitioned the Meeting for Sufferings of Philadelphia Yearly Meeting for assistance naming eleven families in need. Among them was Sarah Haworth, a widow and young children. She had lost 12 cows and was allowed three pounds.
Some time after 1757, Sarah married Peter Ruble and had one son and three daughters, names unknown.
