Marie Elmire Meche was born to David Meche and Mary Louise Prejean. She was baptized July 6, 1821 at St. Charles Borromeo Church, volume 1, page 13. She married Toussaint Quebeaux on January 25, 1840, (volume 1, pg 130), at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. They had a son, Joseph Toussaint, but didn't get to raise him because she past away. Church records show in volume 1, page 55, she past July 28, 1841.
