Raymond "Scott" Shay

Scott passed away on February 14, 2012. He was born on August 4, 1960 to Douglas and Eleanor Shay in Salt Lake City, Utah. Scott later obtained his G.E.D. and attended Salt Lake Community College. Scott married Carree Scott on March 15, 1997.
Scott was self employed for most of his life doing exterior remodeling. He owned a glass franchise called Glass Doctor in Sevier County.
Scott loved the mountains and he truly enjoyed spending time with his family hunting, fishing, camping and just enjoying the great outdoors.
Scott is survived by his wife Carree, children: Dallas, Shaun, Jason, Kristofer and Kodee. Father; Douglas Shay, brother; William Douglas Shay, sister; Dawna Marie Shay, cousins: Richy, Nancy, Mike, Carey, Patrick and Bill. Uncles: Joseph B. Shay and Ronald William Shay.
He was preceded in death by his mother; Eleanor LaVern (Simmons) Shay, grandparents: Erton Ray and Vada Davis and Joseph Benjamin and Leah Shay.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday February 22, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Lake Hills Memorial Mortuary, 10055 South State Street in Sandy, Utah. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lake Hills Memorial Mortuary and one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at Lake Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to an account in the name of R. Scott Shay acct # 9050980 at any America First Credit Union.
