Barbara Ann Glasco Anderson (1934 - 2012)
Barbara Ann Glasco Anderson, 78, passed from this world into God's hands on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012. Service: 12:30 p.m. Thursday in Laurel Land Chapel of Chimes. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
Barbara was the first-born daughter of Roy Hamilton and Lydia Etta Scarborough Glasco of Fort Worth. Barbara was born at St. Joseph's Hospital in Fort Worth on Feb. 15, 1934. She graduated from Brantley Dragaughon Business School as a secretary and passed the civil service test. She worked on the project team for the B-58 bomber at Consolidated Vultee Aircraft, which later became Convair, General Dynamics and ultimately Lockheed Martin. She met the love her life, Robert Hugo Anderson, and they were married Dec. 1, 1956, at Ridglea Methodist Church. They were happily married over 55 years.
Survivors: Husband, Robert Hugo Anderson; son, David Hugo Anderson of Lake Oswego, Ore.; son, Steven Robert Anderson of Cedar Park; daughters-in-law, Susan Anderson and Natalie Anderson; her wonderful grandchildren, Reid, Ragen, Fletcher and Carina; and brother, Roy Hamilton Glasco Jr. and wife, Eileen, of Oviedo, Fla.
