RUBY IRENE HUFF, 92, of 6 Blue Ridge Drive, Fahrney-Keedy Home & Village, Boonsboro, Maryland, died on Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at the Fahrney-Keedy Home.
Born March 10, 1913 in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Howard Clayton and Lona Etta Widdows Keplinger.
She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-four years, Charles Henry Huff, Jr. in 1994.
She was a member of the Ringgold Church of Christ.
She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Hancock, Maryland; the Leitersburg Grange; the Boonsboro Senior Citizens; and the Ruritan in Ringgold.
She was the last surviving member of her family. She is survived by one daughter, Patricia I. McCarty of Orange Park, Florida; one son, Charles T. Huff of Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Ethel Geaslen; and six brothers, Charles A. Keplinger, John Keplinger, Paul Keplinger, Donald Keplinger, Rudolph Keplinger, and Herschel Keplinger.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Rev. Louis L. Emerick will officiate. Burial will be in the Ringgold Cemetery, Ringgold, Maryland.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
