Alice, 82, died at Celina Manor Nursing Home, after a short bout with cancer.
She was a daughter to Rufus and Mary Lou (Ashford) Castles. On Dec 8, 1951, at Crooked Run Baptist Church, in Winnsboro, SC, she married Robert Evans, who survives in Wellston.
Also surviving are a brother, Ashford (Becky), Columbia, SC; and a sister, Beck (Bill) Gossett, Columbia, SC.
Deceased are seven siblings.
She lived in the Lewisburg, PA, area for more than 30 years with her husband. They shared a love for travel and even lived in Germany for five years early in their married life. She was a faithful donor to the Crooked Run Baptist Church for her whole life. She worked as a bookkeeper and took great pride in her work.
