"Linda Gail Rutherford, 63 of Whon passed away Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Abilene Regional Medical Center.
"Linda was born December 5, 1948 in Colorado to Harvey and Ruby Pendergrass. She grew up in Muldrew, Oklahoma.
"She enjoyed being a nurse for 40 years.
Linda was proceeded in death by her parents, and one sister Laverne Horn.
"She is survived by her husband of 17 years Loyd Rutherford of Whon, daughter Stephanie Steel and grand daughter Cassidy Steel of Brownwood. Step-son Todd Rutherford and wife Kim and grand daughter Chloe of Early. Step daughter Tonna Amos of Highland Village, step grand son Shane Fraizer and step grand daughter Trista both of Missouri.
"A Memorial Service will be Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. With Rev. Richard Hetzel officiating in the Walker Funeral Home Chapel in Coleman."
