She was born Sept. 1, 1911, at Plainview, daughter of the late John William and Martha Cordelia (Fones)Davis.
Surviving are a son, William Ambrose of Alton; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Harry Davis of Chesterfield; and a sister, Margaret Gibson of Carlinville.
Preceding her in death were a aon, Robert Ambrose; a brother and three sisters.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Girard.
Graveside services are at 11 a.m. Friday at Mayfield Memorial Park Cemetery in Carlinville. The Rev. Thomas Allen will officiate.
Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
