ELLSWORTH L. KILLEBREW, 72, b. Willows, June 8, 1902, d. on a visit to Leesville, May 11, 1975.
Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Killebrew, he attended Willows schools and subsequently was employed for 39 years by the Union Ice Company, serving many years as manager of the Colusa plant. Returning to Willows he was manager of the Glenn Growers rice dryer at Codora for 16 years.
He was a member of Colusa Lodge No. 240 of Masons, Colusa Chapt. No. 60 of Royal Arch Masons, Colusa Commandery No. 24, Knights Templar, Ben Ali Temple of the Shrine and the Western Sacramento Valley and Chico Shrine clubs.
Survivors include his wife, Thurza Dunlap Killebrew of Willows; two children, Wayne Killebrew and Winifred Pinkston, both of Willows; sisters, Elizabeth Anfinson of So. Calif. and Dorothy Osborn of Susanville; and five grandchildren.
Interment was in the Willows Masonic Cemetery. - Transcribed by M.
